The mid-thigh length is what sold me — no more chafing when I walk around all day. The seamless waistband doesn't dig in either, which I didn't expect from shapewear.

Wore these under a dress on a hot day and the mid-thigh length completely stopped the chafing I usually get. The seamless edges really don't show through thin fabric, which surprised me.

The waistband sits flat under my jeans and doesn't roll down when I sit, which is more than I can say for other pairs I've tried. The smoothing is subtle rather than dramatic, but they do stop my thighs from rubbing on long walks.
