The lockable latch gives me real peace of mind when my sister visits and I can just tuck the whole chest into a closet or toss it in a bag for travel. It holds way more than I expected and the lid shuts snugly.
The lock actually works — my roommate tried to peek while I was showing her the chest and couldn't get it open. It's small enough to tuck under the bed but holds way more than I expected.
The lockable latch works fine and keeps things private, which is the main reason I got it. But it's smaller inside than I pictured, so I can only fit a few items before it's full. Does the job, just not much room.
